Two years ago I was a professional woodworker. I had recently started up my own woodworking business, building custom furniture and cabinets. When disaster struck. My Aunt had a stroke. My Aunt, Helene, is a wonderful person who made it her business to help people, and I was no exception. She became a professor, giving up her job as director, because she loved to help people and see them succeed. Without going into to the details, lets just say I wouldn’t be the man I am today without her help and support. So when she had a stroke I wanted to do all that I could to help her. She now needs care 24 hours a day, so I could no longer be out of the house so much. I needed to find another means of income, so I fell back on my other hobby and love, Apple. I created Dosage out of necessity, due to my Aunt’s suddenly overwhelming amount of medications and, I could work at home. Trying to remember and organize all these meds was a difficult task to say the least, so I began creating Dosage. Lets face it nobody looks forward to taking their medicine, so its my hope people will find it easy and fun using their iPhone’s to remember and organize their medication. I hope that it will help someone else as much as it has helped us. I have many features planned for future updates to make the app even more fun and useful.
